Levi’s 501 Interpretation Event at Ion Orchard

The Levi’s® brand unveils first ever non-Denim Levi’s® 501® Collection on last Saturday's Levi’s 501 Interpretation Event @ Ion Orchard B4, marking 140th anniversary of the iconic and original Levi’s® 501® jeans .  Hosted by Ivy Tan, Y.E.S.933FM DJ, the event showcased each celebrity's interpretation of Levi’s® 501®, namely, Ya Hui, Felicia Chin, Tosh Zhang and Ian Fang.

Highlights of the programme:
* Ya Hui, Felicia Chin, Tosh Zhang and Ian Fang showcase their Levi’s® 501® interpretation in a
   fashion parade.
* Each celebrity to style an 8 DAYS Shirtless Guy based on their personal style interpretation, using
Levi’s® 501® jeans.
* Stage games to bag Levi’s® vouchers and merchandise!
* Come dressed in Levi’s® 501® jeans, and pop by the photo booth to have a picture of your
unique style interpretation taken and be entered into Levi’s® 501® interpretation contest, where
great prizes await the top 5 winners.

Upon arriving the event hall, there is already a huge group of Ya Hui's fan, heard that some of them came as early as 9am just to get a good spot, despite that the event starts at 2pm only.

As invited bloggers, we get the privilege to have a snap shot taken with the 4 gorgeous celebrities, thanks to OMY.

The event started off with Ya Hui, Felicia Chin, Tosh Zhang and Ian Fang cat-walking in their interpreted style of Levi’s 501®.
I'm amazed by Ivy's command of English, she is real fluent, in fact, I love her dressing style too, so cool and chic!
The 4 Celebrities each demonstrated their dressing sense in the Levi’s 501 Interpretation.  Yahui dressed up as a Rock Chic with the black Jacket and blond hair, so cool!  Felicia in her boyfriend's style, love how she turn the men's shirt to Toga-liked top, she even cropped the length of her bottom so that it looked less bulky when folding up.  In additional, she even matched with some of her own accessories so that she still looks demure while in boyfriend's style.  It is obvious that Tosh in Hip-Hop style, ready to dance at any moment while Ian is in preppy style which is pretty much of his usual style.
Breaking with tradition, yet maintaining the product’s true essence and timeless spirit, the three-piece non-denim collection is available in true chino, chalk blue and mineral red. In fact, Yahui and Felicia are in the Mineral Red and True Chino.

The latest jeans will feature slightly larger pockets to store your latest smart phone, and have a shallower yoke for a cleaner aesthetic. They also feature stronger stitching and reinforced belt loops, inseams, buttonholes and cuffs.  This is clearly demonstrated by Tosh performing break dance in his Jeans with much comfort and ease.

Then came the stage game, with each celebrity paired up with 1 audience.  Each team is given a set of label stickers where they need to label the varies parts of Levi's®  501®  jeans. The winning team is Felicia's team!  Their speed is real fast, way ahead of other teams, congrats to the lucky audience.
Then came the main highlight of the event where the celebrities will dress up these 8 DAYS Shirtless Guys based on their personal style interpretation with Levi’s® 501® jeans.  Check out the before and after.
(Photo Credit: © The Dainty Candy)
The the 8Days Shirtless guys went off-stage to get votes from participating audience and counting of the votes to be done...
Drum Roll.... Ta-da, Yahui's Model, Nick Teo, got the most votes!  So Yahui pick one of the votes which the lucky winner gets to win the tops/jumper/jacket/shirt that the male model is wearing. It was then announced that instead for the winning model, it is decided that one lucky voter for each model will get picked and win the same of what the respective model is wearing!
Look at the happy faces of the lucky winners, they probably would not want to come to the end of the event, but this is when it comes to an end of the day's event.

Just attended U-Kiss 'Collage' Tour Concert Singapore 2013 in Hard Rock Coliesum at Resort World Sentosa.

U-Kiss is South Korean boy band formed in 2008, comprising, Soohyun 신수현, Kiseop 기섭, Eli 일라이, Kevin 케빈, Dongho 동호, Hoon 여훈민 and AJ 에이제이, ranging from 19 years old to 24 years old.  The latter two joined the group in year 2011 only.

The group's name is an acronym, representing:

This concert must be having the most interaction among the singers and the audience, as compared to the previous concerts that I ever attend before.

Before the concert starts, there is a series of Intro MV being played on the big projector screen.

After a long waiting, the concert finally starts!

These guys are really cute!!!  The audience simply cant get enough of them!

Check out U-Kiss' Giwyomi/Kiyomi!!!
