Singapore International Jewelry Expo 2014

The Singapore International Jewelry Expo 2014 (SIJE 2014) was held at Marina Bay Sands Singapore Convention Centre Halls during 3 -6 July 2014.   The 4-day event showcased more than US$120 million in jewelry including several solitaire rare, natural, colored gemstones that exceed S$1 million in price per piece. Spanning 7,000 sq metres, SIJE 2014 is the largest show to date.


This year's theme for the Singapore International Jewelry Expo 2014 (SIJE 2014) is, 'Jewels in Color', inspired by the colorful, beautiful and exquisitive display of jewelry from around the world.

Supported by Hong Kong Jewelry and Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA), Italian Trade Agency, The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, India (GJEPC), GIA Thailand, the show attracted exhibitors from the international jewelry industry spanning from United States to South Africa, to Europe and Australia Overseas exhibitors, as well as Asia countries like Hong Kong, Cambodia, etc.

The highlight of the show is the exceptionally rare 50.55 carats white diamond presented by DeGem, of great sparkle and brilliance. This beauty, nicknames 'The White Fire' is valued at U$10 million and certified D color, the highest possible color grading for colorless diamonds.  It is almost flawless with very verry slight inclusions that go virtually unnoticed.


Another, is the exquistive pair of diamond earrings in white gold from IVY Masterpiece.  Made up of cushion cut 10.03 carats Fancy Intense Yellow diamond, a 2.07 carats whote cushion diamond, a 8.05 carats white cushion cut diamond and a 2.02 carats yellow chsioon cut diamond, the pair of earrings is worth S$1 million.
